Breathwork (first session)

What to expect

Your first breathwork session will start with 30 minutes discussion to allow me to gain an understanding of where you are at in life, what your challenges are, what has led you to breathwork and what your intentions are for the session. This will be followed by a breath pattern analysis to discover how you are currently breathing and ways that we can develop a healthier, fuller breath using balancing and restorative day to day breathing techniques. Once we have done this we will move into some conscious connected breathwork. In order to activate the full power of the breath we will use tools that include sound, movement, toning, bodywork, affirmations and visualisations, which will open up your breath and unlock the natural healing ability that we all hold within us. There will be at least 15 mins at the end of the session where you will receive guidance and inspiration. At this point you will relax your breath and stay physically present, responding to the moment and experiencing whatever unfolds. I often use reiki energy healing during this period of integration, deepening your experience and supporting your body as it restores itself. Our breathwork session will help you to breathe more fully, freely and naturally. As well as leaving you calm and relaxed, conscious connected breathing often brings about a positive shift in emotions, outlook and behaviour. The quality and content of the experience will be unique to you and led by your breath, your intentions and your individual needs. After the session I always allow time for more discussion and make sure you feel happy, supported and ready to move on with the rest of your day.
